Behind the Craft: Custom Montefiore Hats for the SOMOS Puerto Rico 2025 Conference

This year at Agape Printing Plus, we completed our third consecutive production of custom hats for Montefiore as part of their partnership with the SOMOS Conference in Puerto Rico. Every year, we refine and elevate the design — and 2025 was no exception.

From Fabric to Finish

Each hat is made from scratch, beginning with carefully selected cotton denim fabric. We review texture, weight, and color tone to ensure durability and comfort in tropical weather.

We then cut the material into individual panels, reinforce stitching, and construct the crown to guarantee both structure and softness.

This year’s design features:

Back Embroidery: “Montefiore Einstein” stitched directly onto the denim panels for clean, long-lasting detail.

Front Leather Patch: A customized leather patch showcasing the SOMOS logo, adding contrast and an elevated professional look.

These elements reflect both institutions’ commitment to style, community, and purpose.
